Non-singular black holes and mass inflation in modified gravity

چکیده
We analytically derive a class of non-singular, static and spherically symmetric topological black hole metrics in F(R)-gravity. These have not de Sitter core at their centre, as most model standard General Relativity. study the geometric properties motion test particles around these objects. Since they two horizons, inner being Cauchy type, we focus on problem mass inflation show that it occurs except when some extremal conditions are met.

Canada " What are the everywhere regular solutions of these field equations? " Abstract A non-singular static spherically symmetric solution of the nonsymmetric gravita-tional and electromagnetic theory (NGET) field equations is derived, which depends on the four parameters m, ℓ 2 , Q and s, where m is the mass, Q is the electric charge, ℓ 2 is the NGT charge of a body and s is a dimensionless ...
متن کاملAstrophysical black holes in screened modified gravity
Chameleon, environmentally dependent dilaton, and symmetron gravity are three models of modified gravity in which the effects of the additional scalar degree of freedom are screened in dense environments. They have been extensively studied in laboratory, cosmological, and astrophysical contexts. In this paper, we present a preliminary investigation into whether additional constraints can be pro...
متن کاملCharged black holes in string-inspired gravity II. Mass inflation and dependence on parameters and potentials
We investigate the relation between the existence of mass inflation and model parameters of string-inspired gravity models. In order to cover various models, we investigate a Brans-Dicke theory that is coupled to a U(1) gauge field. By tuning a model parameter that decides the coupling between the Brans-Dicke field and the electromagnetic field, we can make both of models such that the Brans-Di...
متن کاملQuantum compositeness of gravity: black holes, AdS and inflation
Gravitational backgrounds, such as black holes, AdS, de Sitter and inflationary universes, should be viewed as composite of N soft constituent gravitons. It then follows that such systems are close to quantum criticality of graviton Bose-gas to Bose-liquid transition. Generic properties of the ordinary metric description, including geodesic motion or particlecreation in the background metric, e...
متن کاملNon-singular Cosmology in Modified Gravity
A non-singular cosmology is derived in modified gravity (MOG). The universe begins in the distant past in a contracting de Sitter phase, is non-singular at t = 0 and then describes approximately the standard radiation dominated solution before the time of decoupling. The spacetime in the neighborhood of t = 0 is described by Minkowski spacetime in which the Weyl curvature tensor vanishes and th...
